Drop in

Undermount sinks are installed from below the countertop surface and offer a few advantages over drop-in sinks. Undermount sinks increase counter space, offer a more seamless appearance, and are easier to clean than drop-in sinks.
Vessel

According to HGTV, “Console bathroom sinks are generally configured so that the sink itself sits inside of a console table, which features an open area beneath the sink base that can be used for storage or simply left open to create a more spacious feel.”
